“Will this work with a kindle ereader?”

• The old readers may not have had a backlight so I suppose you could try it. I know the Nook wasn’t lit up originally. If your in the dark and can’t read the book it would work.

• I haven't used my reading light with a Kindle, but there's no reason it won't work. Note: I use a cover with an e-reader, including a Kindle. If the reader doesn't have a cover, there's no way to clip the light to it. You'd have to clip the light to something else.
