I could see from how it was put together that it would not have lasted very long, at least as far as the clip is concerned, which is really the point of a clip-on light. I never even put the battery in or turned on the light. I returned the item.

Problem is I can't clip it to anything without it just sliding/popping off. Tried the screen, base, power cord. The shape makes it impossible to sit next to keyboard unclipped for a light so sort of useless for my needs. I have to try to lean it against something and keep very still. I did return the 1st one as it fell apart placing the battery in but customer service let me exchange no problem.
