I have my equipment set up there and have had to leave the doors open so that the remote operation would work. I can now close the doors and everything works just the way they did with doors open.

My only complaint or maybe comment is that the sticky pad that allows you to attach the sensor to the device you are trying to control should be larger and stickier. But just having the trigger close to the device seems to work anyway.
