This extender works great for me. I have cabinet doors in front of my components that blocked signals, with this signal extender problem solved. the price is very reasonable as well, and Its very simple to install.

Very easy to hook up, cables Hyde nicely, seems to work very well through the walls. No problems whatsoever with the four remotes that I use. Seem to work well with the universal remote as well

Excellent functionality, great item for the price. Allows me to get our Blu-Ray player and cable set-top box out of sight in our wooden cabinets.

My bluetooth speaker prohibited me from changing channels due to sitting in front of sensors. My Bestbuy installer told me to buy an extender that can really be expensive online. I went to Best buy and found this one. It works GREAT with a great price in tow!! Absolutely did the job at a nominal price!

When Spectrum moved to an all digit network, it became necessary for one of our TV's to have an extender to access Spectrum's new receiver cable box. This device was easy to install and competitively priced when compared to other comparable devices, such as GE, wireless extender.

Easy to use and set up. Very low profile so it is extremely unobtrusive. The sticky material could be a bit more adherent.

It was an easy install and has worked fine since installation. The range isn't great, but it is more than adequate for the room.

Needed to route the power on signal around the center speaker that was blocking the TV.
This was the 2nd solution I bought and tried (the other was bought from Radio Shack that didn't work, not enough power to repeat the signal).
This product from Insignia worked like a charm and repeated the signal with plenty of strength.
Only thing I don't like is that you came detach any of the signal diods that aren't being used so you end up with a ball of wires that need to be hidden.

Effective and easy to set up. The wires were almost too short. I had to move several things around and cut new holes in my TV cabinet to accommodate, so be sure to measure prior to purchase.

I love it, hide your devices behind a cabinet and can still communicate with the remote. It is very easy to set up. Use a flashlight to find the eye on the devices. I would recommend it to friends and family.

IR extenders are awesome. Works great. I like the fact that I don't have to keep my cable box in sight and am able to control it. I also like the fact that it can control multiple devices.

This is genius. I was about to fork out $1000 to have my cabinets reconfigured and then I discovered this gadget! You can't even see it unless you are looking for it! Works perfectly! If you have cabinets this is for you!

I have an enclosed cabinet in which my electronics reside. The cabinet is much more attractive with the doors closed. However, before this product, I had to leave the doors open all the time. With this product, I am able to close the doors and enjoy the benefits of remote controls.
Mostly, the product works well, but for some reason, it will not turn off the receiver - hence the 4 rating.

I purchased this sensor for compatibility with my fiber optic cable box. The cable box only recognizes usb components vs hdmi or the normal plug in type sensors. Works great.

Configuring your video players, robust, cable boxes, Blu ray etc and hiding them inside furniture is a challenge when you need your remote to active and control them. This does exactly that and provides everything you need in the box. The small sensors can be discretely placed under the edge of cabinets and other furniture to discreetly allow your remote to transmit to the electronics hidden elsewhere. Genius.

This device controls my audio and video equipment in a closet behind the tv. Unfortunately, the stick -em on the sensors can only be used once. When I adjusted the location, the stick-em stayed stuck on the surface and I had to use a strip of duct tape. It would be better with a velcro type holder.
