Great IR cables for multiple devices that are hidden in cabinets.

Though, could use better means of securing the IR beams in place.

My network works greAt Nd the coverage is throughout the house without any issues this is the first time I have coverage on all three floor of a 7000 sq ft home.

It is a good idea that was not executed properly, apparently just to save cost. The receiving unit is simply not strong enough to get the signal from the remote unless you have the remote in exactly the right position in relation the the receiving unit. Makes it a pain to use.

Useful item needed for future expansion in the future

I have my receiver hidden and this allows me to control it with my remote without moving stuff to turn the volume up/down.

Take your time hooking these up so your media cabinet doesn't look like a hot mess. Gets the job done.

Used for tv mounted on the wall with the cable box behind the tv. Great for being able to use the cable remote while the cable box is hidden out of sight.

Put all boxes cable ,dvd ,and old vcr in closet out of sight . Mount ir receiver outside of closet and everything works and is out of sight

great option for keeping cable box out of site. This cleans up the look of our entrainment center. Works great

Works as advertised but limited range in picking up signal from remote. Have to hold in one spot from room to get signal picked up. Seems more limited in range than what usually experienced with remote. But did give ability to hide cable box in cabinet.

These are perfect to use when you want to hide your cable box, DVD player or any other box you have connected to your tv

I have purchased this item twice. Once for the bedroom and once for the living room. It is an excellent product and a good value for the price.

Works great with one remote and not at all with the other. Was trying to avoid buying another Harmony and like the remote that came with the tv. But, now I'll be throwing this in the drawer of useless cables and remotes and will end getting another Harmony.

This didn’t work out for my needs. I needed to have it aimed just right so it would function, not convenient when you’re starting to fall asleep and need to fight with it!

This unit needs help, for the Cost. Upon getting and trying to set-up, there was no "eye". The receiver I have is a normal, newer unit, Anybody else would have given up, but if you move the the input receiver to where you can get to it, then move the output eye from this unit all around while turning remote on and off(pointing remote at input unit eye) while moving around, you can find where your IR eye is. You will need duct tape or some good tape as the the glue dots provided will not hold the weight of the unit eye. Works good for me, but be prepared.
