My entertainment center is low, and we have a high coffee table. This resulted in having to hold our arms up to use the box and even resort to the cable remote. It's great!

Also the window for the pickup should be wider. You have to be right in line with the Remote Control Receiver. Would be nice if the package included 2 wall plates to cover the holes one has to make in the wall for the pickup.

I'm able to use all of the functions of my remote and only have to point the universal remote at the TV and everything works!!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used an IR extender before, one that was part of another BestBuy product and non-powered even, worked great and had 10 times the range of this thing. Went to the trouble of getting this one all set-up, only to realize I have to stand up and walk over to my TV and get within 2-3 feet of the IR Sensor for it to pickup the signal. I was leery about purchasing after some of the reviews (and the fact it's an Insignia product) - but most were positive so I figured the users w/negative reviews were doing something wrong. Nope. This thing sucks, save your time and lettuce.

He had a hard time getting the adhesive on the connectors to stick to the components. By the next day they had all fallen off and I couldn't get them to stick again. This product is useless! Don't waste your money.

Do not waste your time or money unless you never plan to be more than about 3 feet from the IR receiver. It does not work at normal viewing distances. Returning it tomorrow. Very disappointed in Best Buy for even stocking this item.

Will not Work through wall
