Its actually a lot better than the one that came with the TV. I really like the feature it has when where you can press the "input" button and then the center button to immediately switch to that input setting without waiting for the tv to engage

If you have Insignia hardware this remote should work out of the box. My only complaints are that the layout is not well thought out. The Input button is in the number pad and the Guide and Channel Info buttons are thrown in with the Menu and Exit button above the rocker button. Also the battery cover is very thin and delicate. I'm waiting for it to break.

Good replacement for lost remote

It paired up with out having to do any extra codes or anything like other universal remotes
