After purchasing this remote I went home & was able to set up in less than 5 min! It works how it’s supposed to & I love it

I love how BestBuy carries extra remotes and if you lose your original remote, you can easily purchase a replacement, pair it with your tv, and you’re good to go!! Love how the remote has an Alexa button feature so you can just tell Alexa what you want to watch or what app to open. Thanks BestBuy, you are the best retailer around. I wouldn’t dream of shopping anywhere else. Bestbuy always has what I need at affordable prices!

Our dog destroyed the remote that came with our Fire TV so we needed a replacement. Originally I bought an Amazon remote at the Best Buy store and it was useless. Had I read the reviews before I went shopping I would have known that but I didn't so I spent a WEEK without my TV as this remote must be ordered. Once it arrived I turned the TV on and everything worked perfectly. All I can say is that if this one gets destroyed (and we're being much more careful with the remote to avoid that) I will absolutely not unplug the TV. As long as the TV is powered up you can also use Alexia and your smartphone app. Once it's been powered off all is lost and you must have this remote to awaken the device.

Works exactly like our original remote that broke. Very happy with this replacement. It is identical setup to the original and had no problem connecting to our Toshiba Fire TV. So whether you have the Insignia or Toshiba Fire TV, you can rest assured that this will work like your original remote (at least it did for us).

So, yeah, protip: If you watch TV in bed, make sure that you don't put your remote through the wash when you do your sheets. They don't like it. Fortunately, this replacement remote is identical to the one that came with my Toshiba Smart TV. Pairing it to the TV was easy, and I daresay unneccesary. It may have worked without going through the process, I don't know. But whatever, the serial number in the TV matches the serial number on the new remote, so I suppose it matters. I would definitly buy this again, and as evidenced by past events, I may have to. Cross your fingers for me.

The delivery was sloooow but the remote worked great. Easy program. Exact remote as original Easy set up basically just point and hold ten seconds and your done. Been working fine without any issues

So glad I purchased this remote after losing my first one. Works exactly the same as the one the TV came with and is super easy to use. My parents who are technologically inept can use this with such ease. I would recommend that you buy this remote for its simplicity in running a smart TV. Now that I found the one I lost I have 2 and never worry about looking for one. If I buy another TV in the future I will be sure to make sure this remote is compatible with it.

Lost a remote so we got this one as a replacement. It was an exact match and took less than a minute to sync with the TV.

Very easy to use replacement remote. No need to program it just put in the batteries and it's good to go.

Buy one of these for spousal bliss. Now we don't need to fight over the remote, even as we compete for what to watch next. Works identically to the factory remote. I secretly even have a hidden extra remote so I can still control when my spouse tries to steal my remote. Hope she doesn't read this review! Some of the dedicated buttons on the bottom don't lead anywhere.

We bought an Insignia Fire TV and like it, but we didn't like the idea of passing the remote around so ordered this one to give us his/hers remotes. That's exactly what it does so there isn't much more to say, except other sources were more expensive and longer delivery than BestBuy at the time I checked.

I bought an Insignia fire tv then I dropped the remote in the hot tub. I got a universal remote and that worked for a couple weeks then stopped. Then I bought an amazon fire tv remote. It did not work at all. I then bought this as a last shot and it's worked perfectly.

I was looking to replace my Toshiba control after It wouldn’t turn on my tv or click to the right. I saw this one that looks exactly alike.. so I purchased it. It’s a bit pricey but it was well worth it. Works exactly like the original. I did need the original one to click ok or something like that when I was pairing new one.

Works great. Connects to your insignia fire TV like the original remote. It's like exactly alike.. I bought 2 because we tend to lose or break the remote:/ but they both work for our 2 insignia fire TVs
