Works great with my LG after I lost the original remote. No set up. Inserted the batteries easy Peary!

Best generic remote for LG, it did c9nnected automatically instead of find the right code and entering them. Would def recommend it, is a BestBuy. LOL.

This LG Remote worked for some days,but it is no longer unfortunately no longer working, the Battery is new. I wonder if I could get a replacement.

I purchased this remote after my dog chewed up the remote that came with my LG TV. Originally, I purchased a "smart TV" remote that was supposed to be universal. It was universal in the sense that it turned my TV on, that's it. So I came to Best Buy to see their options and that's when I found the replacement remote for LG tvs. While it was double the price of the original replacement I bought, it's functionality is ten fold what the other remote did. For starters, there is NO set up. I repeat, NO SET UP. If you own a relatively newer TV you literally pop the batteries in and you're off. No searching, no syncing, no trying multiple codes. Every button works. The only downside is that my original remote came with a designated Netflix button and this one does not. 10/10 would recommend.

Purchased an LG TV with ThinQ technology in 2020, and being home so much, my kids quickly lost the remote. I was pleasantly surprised that this remote does not require programming! Straight out of the package, it worked. Only way these could be improved is if they had the magic remote pointer function.

Worked immediately. Didn’t have to program anything. It’s a little bigger than the one that came with the tv which was great. It doesn’t get lost as easy. Worked with all the apps and whistles. I was able to enjoy this bad boy for a solid 2 minutes before losing it to my children and wife forever. I think about it in my dreams sometimes. One day we’ll be back together.

The volume button on my original LG remote was starting to not work properly. I saw this remote on the website and talked to an agent that told me this one works with most LG TV. I also talked to a Sales Associate because I was still not sure with it being for a Smart TV & he told me that it should work but I might have to set it up with a code which was included in the directions. Bought it, got home, put batteries in it & turned on the TV with it. Check all the functions and it works just like the original and I didn't need to put in a code.

This remote is a vast improvement over the remote that came with our LG TV. It is a little larger in size thus making it easier to handle. The buttons are larger and more tactile.

Purchased this remote 2 weeks ago because the directional buttons on the factory remote malfunctioned. It worked with my 40 something inch 4K LG LCD TV straight from the package - every button worked as it should. The instructions included in the package will lead you through a setup procedure should it not immediately work for you. The remote size longer than the original remote, but I find that is not a problem and doesn't effect how it works.

The Insignia Replacement Remote for LG TVs was an excellent purchase. It was easy to program to control an older LG TV which originally came with an LG Magic Remote. The Insignia remote retained all the functionality of the original LG remote in a format that was easy for my elderly Mother to master. It was in every way equal to or superior the the LG remote control which I purchased it to replace.

The prior owners of my home left behind an LGTV and no remote. This item was cost efficient and quickly resolved my lack of understanding of the features And made it possible for me to enjoy this TV. Would buy again but hopefully I never have to.

This replacement remote for LG TVs is very lightweight and similar to the original one, so the only thing that you have to do is to put in it two AAA batteries and that's it! You don't really need to read the instructions for use it and better than this, you don't need to configure it for use it, if you have an LG-TV. It's great!
