So, it was time to find a replacement. The Insignia is made for the Sony TV, so is a much simpler, better fit than a universal remote that needs programming.

THIS ONE - INSIGNIA* WAS GREAT - BUT, YOU BETTER HAVE SMALL HANDS TO OPERATE IT. MY OLD ONE HAS MORE ROOM FOR A THUMB TO MOVE THE ARROWS AROUND THE ‘SELECT’ BUTTON.

Instructions on how to do that are perfectly clear.

Can't do it without the "Sony" remote. I traveled to my Best Buy and purchased this universal replacement and was able to do all of my upgrades. Thanks Best Buy!

This remote looks like old remote but with some new enhancements. We are very happy volume button, change channel and selections for Fire Stick.

Specific Smart features will take time to learn since button labels are generic.

Two remotes are better than one

Works right out of the package; no programming required. The only thing I wish it had is a "sleep" button. Apparently, Sony doesn't put sleep buttons on their remotes anymore.
