Works... Kind of.

Purchased as a replacement for missing remote from floor model Bravia A8E. Only a small fractions of the buttons work and no microphone (which I was aware of at time of purchase).

I know the feeling of not being able to get something to work easy and seamlessly. Be aware that the issue could be coming from the TV, if the built-in IR sensor goes bad no remote will work with it. We are always here to help you and thanks for your preference.

The button layout almost makes me wish it didn't though. This isn't 1995, I don't really care much about a full number pad, I care about the directional buttons...which are hard to use. The outer ring of 5 buttons are not ones you need as often, and tend to be ones that interrupt whatever you are doing (like a home button), but it's that small inner ring pushed up against it that really matters. However I have to try to tap them with my finger tip, or I hit the outer buttons. Whoever designed that should be embarrassed. As soon as I find a better replacement, I'm throwing this away. -5 stars for being frustrating and hard to use. +3 stars because it does what it says on the box: work with my sony TV.

Perfect for Sony, also has JP1 header inside so it can be reprogrammed for other brands using a USB to serial cable, search JP1 for free software. My only dislike is the direction ring is too crowded between the outer ring of buttons.
