    This remote control works on Sony tv's, but I can't make it work for digital channel programming like 2.1 or 4.2, 3.12, 31.7 etc. you have to press number 2, 4, 3, 31 etc. then keep pressing the channel up or down button to get what you're trying to see. The instructions don't address this at all. That said, my Sony remote quit working so I guess something beats nothing.
