If you need a backup remote control for your TCL TV, or just a plain replacement if you lost it, then this is it! It's easy to use, ready to go out of the box, and I love the designated app buttons it has, which makes using it that much easier.

Got this as a backup for my TLC tv, but it’s a TLC fire TV. First instructions talk about setting up with google TV, which I don’t have. So I tried the manual setup which programs the remote since I still have the old one, but that didn’t work. I pressed the buttons, and pressed the buttons on my old one and it didn’t transfer. Tried a few times and failed, so couldn’t get this to work. So now I have a remote but its just a piece of plastic I cannot use. Interesting too that if the remote doesn’t work for your TV, you need to program it with the old remote (might work with a google one). But if you lost the old one, you’re out a luck. The actual feel of it was decent, but it just don’t work with my TV. And I wish the setup was easier too, like press buttons based on your TV type to make it work. Instead, you have to press buttons and power and then hope it works, and if not try and manually connect it. OVERALL though I guess you’re better off getting the original remote as this might not work, especially if you’re missing the old remote.

I returned this. Didn't work with my TCL/Roku Television - my fault, because it's clearly labeled as working with a TCL/Google television.

Just put in batteries and it worked seamlessly. If your dog eats your standard remote like mine did, this is the perfect replacement.

My dog chewed up my remote and i purchased this as a replacement. It automatically connected to my tv and is easy to navigate. Would definitely recommend!
