The remote servers the purpose of changing the changes but you still cannot access the menu for the television.

He led us right to the remote control for our tv and informed us that if the problem was with our TV rather than the remote, we could return the remote and he would help us get what we needed instead.

We have not tried the new Vizio remotes with the voice, but the original remotes went haywire on us and the clicks do what they want.
