The batteries work fine, but I now wish I would have bought the rechargeable ones that recharge from the controller that sit in a cradle, it is a minor pain to have to go through the extra steps needed when recharging even though you have a spare quickly to exchange with when needed. The batteries seem to hold a long charge when using before needing recharging.

I mean, the cells will eventually fail to hold a charge or charge at all. Of the dozen or so that I own, around two of them are dead. But if you are paying for alkaline batteries every time, do your wallet and the earth a favor, even if you could afford to buy the alkalines, but these instead.

I wish it was more clear how the battery should be oriented because after nearly 6 months, I still don't quite understand it, but it works well and is a great value versus replacing batteries all the time.
