All though it probably wasn’t the fault of this product but rather a faulty xbox but I did have this thing plugged in when my Xbox died on me. Still again probably just a faulty Xbox I do actually hear good things out this product though.

Cool but became Disappointing

About 8 months after purchase, the batteries are failing to hold a charge. Just buy Xbox's own battery. Mine lasted for 5 years. I only got the Insignia thing to try something new.

Cool idea, but doesn't work

Unfortunately, the included battery packs won't completely slide into the charge station, so they can't even charge, rendering the whole thing useless. Also, the locking switch on the bottom that's supposed to fasten to the bottom of the console doesn't work. When the charge station was secured onto the console, I couldn't pull out the tab to latch it onto anything, and trying to keep it extended before attaching the charge station didn't work either as it would just get pushed back in. In all, this just seems to be a poorly designed device, with poor quality manufacturing.

Bad battery

Compared to the genuine battery, this one has a worse battery life, so it will be charged soon.

Not worth your money.

They also go from low battery to dead in 10minutes. Not great when your gaming and your controller dies. So with that being said look for better rechargeables from another company. These are garbage.

Awful, don’t buy.

I spent so much time just trying to get the stupid unit to hold the battery in so it charges. The side clips are extremely flimsy and don’t actually hold the battery in at all. Both of the slots refuse to hold the battery in, even if I push over the clip to make it catch on the edge of the battery. Extremely frustrating very shoddy craftsmanship. Takes me five minutes just to get it to finally hold the battery and any fast movement risks popping the battery out again.

Works but not a perfect solution

Then the battery life gets es down hill pretty fast. I’ve had them for 3 months and I made sure not to leave them on the charger but they barely hold a charge now.
