Some of the stand-alone Insignia and Rocketfish rechargeable batteries are compatible with this dock as well.

Its nice it attaches to the front of the console. The batteries seem to have a long life.

Pro tip: you can use a C-cable and plug it right into your controller. This means you don’t have to remove the batteries out of the controller. This also means. You don’t need that tacky charger hanging off your Xbox. No more nagging battery doorsz

Works similar to play and charge kit but…

You cannnot charge them with the usbc play and charge kit cord as they dont have the metal charging tab like the play and charge kit. I prefer the play and charge kit as you can still charge in and out of controller.
