Also it didn’t come with a plug to plug into the outlet. Not real happy but still better than using real batteries

Ultimately I stopped using this and got a genuine MS rechargeable battery.

The green light says the unit is fully charged, but when we go to use it, i have to connect the cord to the xbox and the controller to pair again and keep the controller on a wired charger

Very frustrating. Returned this and bought the Controller Gear branded one from Microsoft. That one is way better than this Insignia charger. The price is double that of the Insignia but it it well worth it. Do not buy this charger

Finally the battery up and died with no warning and no longer works at all. And I've had it for just shy of a month.
