Pretty good device but can't get oil past 340 degrees even at max level and being left on for 20 minutes. It does also have a high pitch hum as times.

Purchased this for camping. It heats so fast. Great purchase!

I had to return both the original purchase and my replacement. The device wouldn't recognize my pan even though the magnet that comes with the device stuck to the bottom of the pan. Moreover, the same metal pan would work on my other induction cooker's that I had purchased from Sam's Club. It seems that the device is very selective of the types/density of steel. I didn't attempt to try cast iron. Other than that the device appears to be very well built. As for heat transference I can not comment.

Can’t recommend this item. It does heat up fast but it does not maintain temperature well. I’ve ended up not using this as much as my old induction unit that is now out of commission.

I love using this burner when barbecuing on the grill.

Got the cook top for work Cooks quick and worth the buy

I've bought two of these cooktops. They worked well as portable/ extra stoves. Especially like that it has a pause button which allows you to temporarily take the pan off the stove without having to turn off the stove.

I like it and it boils water in about half the time as my gas stove and I’d give it 5 stars except it never came with the promised instruction manual and magnet. What’s up with that? No quite sure how best to use it!

It works great.. this is our 2nd cook-top with good quality. This stove controls are very different from earlier one and controls are very confused as power and start. Starts with High mode which are numbered, I would expect to start low or medium since this confuses the beginners and kids.

I purchased this single eye induction cooktop to take with me on my camping trips. I haven't made it camping yet but I use this unit as my primary stovetop cooktop in the kitchen. This is the perfect gadget, heat settings accurate, timed unit. There are no downsides to this purchase.

It is an excellent choice for an alternate stove. Can get water to boil in less than a minute. Fan is a little too loud.

Used this when we were remodeling the kitchen. Worked great with the induction pots and pans that we already had. Does suck some power however. Not really intuitive to operate out of the box.

Well, I realized that Best Buy did not make this item anymore, a bit disappointed. I own it for a few years now and love it, ending up purchasing 3 of them to give to friends.

This induction cooktop solved the problem of cooking in an auxiliary kitchen with the bonus features of outdoor use during BBQs as a warmer and additional cooking surface. I purchased two of them as a deal of the day at a terrific price which was awesome.
