Bought this as an impulse buy. The stove makes the house hot when I cook and wanted to see if this would be better. Overall, works amazing! Boils water so fast and makes rice/oats/barley/soup so easily. Doesn't take up much room and is easy to clean. only thing is you have to make sure your pots/pans are magnetic or it won't work.

I live on the downstairs of a duplex with some friends and wanted a little stove top to myself so I can easily cook ramens and other foods without having to go up stairs and share a kitchen with others. This induction stove works really fast and well. The only drawback is how the fan can be a little loud, but it’s really not a problem at all.

Heats water incredibly fast...a nice option for warming foods, BUT, you need to have pure steel or iron pans for it to work.

I love this cooktop. The power level settings are 1-8 but even if you use just the level 3-setting, it's already the equivalent of your medium heat for gas stoves. Based on my experiment and comparison with my gas stove settings, the high setting can be achieved from Power level 5-6. You probably won't even use the 7- or 8- levels. This means that you can't max out the power (watt) draw but you could if you need to depending on what you're cooking. But for most food types, I would probably just go with 5 or 6 so overall, I'm consuming less energy compared to when using gas. So my overall utility bill is reduced with this appliance. The basic operation is very simple. You either choose to use a temp-based setting or power-level. And you use the +/- to adjust as you go. Clean up is very easy as well.

Bought it when it's on sale, and it does the job way better than what I paid for. Pretty basic functions only, but you get what you paid for. Yet, it's been around half a year, so far so good.

I have had this for over a year. It is used a few times every day. The gas stove is now used rarely! Don't know how I got along without it. Works flawlessly. Makes one cup of coffee in a SS pot in less than 2 min.

Wow, this thing is fast, easy to use, easy to clean, super efficient. Great fun to use iron skillets again rediscovering so many meals with this Induction grille. Don't hesitate to try it but remember you've got to use iron.

I have not explored all the features of this burner but so far it has been a joy to use. I have never used another induction cooktops before so it was something I needed to watch I realize because it does heat up much faster than the regular burners. The magnetic tester pad that came was very helpful. I'm so glad I decided to try this out. I just bought a set that is induction ready to maximize cooking on this. I have already cooked a bunch of things on this one. I use it outside the house for when I need to cook something that stinks (Asian here). Deep see fish is delicious but doesn't smell the best. And sometimes it's windy outside so the gas burner can't handle my cooking needs either. Thank goodness for this. Get one! I'll add pictures in the future.

Really like this product. I don't use my stove top anymore because this device is so convenient and quick to use and easy to clean up.

I love how easy this is to use. I never use any high temp settings and it cooks even with just light suturing. Cleaning the top is no problem. I just might get another one because they are so easy to use. This is built with quality.

This item was excellent as an extra cooktop. I tried it out by bringing water to a rolling boil. It meets my high standard. It is an 1800 watt induction cooktop. Make sure you have the right pans to use. It will not turn on unless the pans are induction ready.

Best designed stand alone Induction "Cooktop" on the market. Versatile precise controls and plenty of power. Easy to clean and maintain. Cooks fast with proper induction grade pots and pans, including cast-iron skillets. Good value for the money.

Good to have in hot summer days to cook in backyard or to cook on table in winter plus more. Powerful and easy to clean. Need to read instruction for first time use (thus four stars instead of five.) Overall, very good product, will recommend.

This is easy to use and makes for faster cooking of some foods. It took me a while to get used to, but the precise temperature control is nice. I think it uses less energy which is an added bonus. Overall, I'm happy with the product.

This induction cooktop come in handy when I need to cook something outside, for hotpot, cooking meats at the dinner table, etc. It has worked well so far. The only problem I have with it is the noises that it makes. The fan is loud and the unit frequently makes a high pitch whining noise that can get extremely annoying. This could have been a five star product if it weren't for the noises that it makes.

This is a great portable induction pad, gives me the ability to keep things warm or cook things down stairs at my wet bar. You do need special pans that are inductive otherwise this cooktop will not work.

Purchased two of these induction cooktops during a Deal of the Day Sale. Excellent value on sale. Works very well and heats fast. The one item missing is the ability to set the heat by temperature. Would by it again.

Wonderful cooktop, safe cooking with induction, portable and great value when found on sale. I had to buy two, one for my use in my camper and one for my daughter who travels a lot also.

Pros: it's very efficient, and you get very precise temperature control that's not possible with electric hot plates. Cons: the built-in fan is very loud. Also, whatever you do, don't use enameled cast iron on this. The enamel coat will almost instantly crack and break off. Overall, this is a decent intro to induction, but the noise level and very limited instructions take away from it.

hums very loud but boils water very quickly.. I dont hear the hum as loud as my kids. My kids tell me it hurts their ears.
