Not recommended at all

I had to return the first one after a short while because it quit working. The replacement worked for about 2-3 months and then quit working as well. This one is going in the garbage and I would have been better off just giving my money away. If I could rate a 0, I would.

cook top junk

I thought it was the pot but it would not turn on. I would not tell a friend about this cook top. Now I will have to look for another cook top with a different brand.

Imprecise temperature control and hot spot

The rest of the pan is cold to the touch! Also, the temperature settings are too big of jumps. I bought the pan to control temperature more precisely. On one level will be boiling over while the next lower setting is not boiling at all! Don't bother.

Insignia warranty dept says you must go to a store and bring it to the geek squad. Been twice to the store and waited in a long line. They then say you must make an appointment first just to send it back. Disappointing.

Best Buy accepted my return, they are good that way. I cannot recommend this product, but highly recommend Best Buy.

Faulty Item

Plugged in but failed to turn on. I watch couple video on you tune thinking may be I am doing something wrong but this thing did not work. Returned in store and still awaiting refund after 1 month as I purchased this from the reward point.

I was to return but missed the date on that. It’s long gone. Straight to the trash!

Don't buy it

It is inconsistent with heating and although it appears to still be on, it is clearly no longer heating the pan. I would have returned it, except I forgot that Best Buy reduced the return window to less than 30 days

looks good bt must be broken during delivery
