Had a Nerf case before on my son's 3DSXL and it started to fall apart. The foam was very flimsy and didn't hold up well. It was also very bulky and a little big for a 5 year old's hands. This case is absolutely beautiful and very slim. It won't off all the protection of the Nerf case but my son has dropped it and held up pretty well.

Great fit, high quality and slim profile. Well worth the price to protect your investment.

Bought this on clearance so availability may be limited. Good protection with all of the appropriate cut outs. Not sure how much protection it would provide during a high fall. Overall, looks nice.

We bought this to protect a new 3DS XL unit. Looking over them, it's for a 14yr old boy so the NERF protectors seem a little overkill for this application. This did the trick, looks nice, and protects the 3DS XL well. We are very happy with the purchase.

I had a Nerf cover before, but my dog had its way with it. This cover offers similar protection without the bulkiness of the Nerf. I highly recommend it for adults and children alike!

Provides good protection , and excellent grip (very important for small hands, 3DS alone was very slippery). Design could be better to allow 3DS to open up completely.

So, it feels really nice, snaps on the console as you would expect, and the pleather or whatever material it's made of, feels really nice in hand, makes the console slightly larger, may help those with big hands play it more comfortably. Only downside, which you might not experience, is it no longer fits in the original case I bought for it. Simple solution is to wrap a rubber band around it, but probably won't do as good in falls and such. No big deal though.

If you are looking for a case for your nintendo 3ds xl this one is a good starting case.

This case is just the case I ever wanted,its not to big and it fits so nicely. Its just the perfect item for your Nintendo 3DS XL I would deffinetely recommend this to anyone.

After buying by mistake the case for the new Nintendo 3DS and realize that it didn't fit mine, I finally got this great and cheap case, protects it and looks great.
