Mesh tips have so far not caused any scratches on screen protectors. These work OK on Surface Pro 3 tablet, 17" touch screen laptop, and Pixel 3a XL smartphone. Sometimes requires a firmer touch near screen edges. They do not work at all on my Android-based automotive scan tool touch screen tablet.
