Love it easy to use, looks great in family room , would def recommend this item

We have it hooked to a small Samsung tv it works great for what we use it for not for a cinema or anything. Got it for a great deal on best buys deal of the day.

I loved the speaker the less than one month it worked. It died suddenly and not slowly. I cannot stand the hassle that looms with the manufacturer and will likely send to dump. I am leery of all Insignia now although all likely come from the same place. I guess some will be lucky if their speakers last.

I have purchased three of these for work and serves it's purpose well.

We needed something to amplify the volume so we could hear it over the treadmill and stationary bike. Works perfectly. Improves the quality of the sound as well.

It is a great complement with the insignia tv. I wish it didnt mute randomly.

I have tried ever possible way to set it up but nothing works for me. I called the geek phone line to get someone to come out & find out what I'm not doing correctly & was put on hold for ever & ever then disconnected. I gave up.

Easy to set up and sounds much better than TV speakers. Bluetooth is easy to use and has multiple inputs (auxiliary 3.5mm, optical, and HDMI passthrough).

This is a fantastic soundbar for only 100 dollars. I would deffinetly recommend it to someone looking for a simple sound solution on a budget. Its no Sonos system but its great for what you pay. However how you set it up will greatly affect the sound quality and volume. Assuming your input device is connected to the TV via HDMI, these are your options and how they will work RCA (red and white cables) - These are going to be the worst choice, they're old technology and the tv's build in speakers will probably be louder than the soundbar set up this way. AUX - This will sound good if you dont want to shell out the extra 20 dollars for an optical cable. Volume and sound quality is good. It will out perform RCA and the TV speakers by a long shot. Optical - By far the best option. Optical audio is the best choice for any soundbar and this one is no different. This cable will give you the most volume, its actually very impressive how loud this soundbar can get with the appropriate cables. It's well worth it to spend the extra 20 dollars for the optical cable. Lastly, if you are using an older device such as a dvd player or old game console that uses a component connection (yellow, white, and red cables) You will want to use the AUX connection. An optical cable cannot take the audio signal sent from the older cables and will not give a good sound. All in all this is a fantastic soundbar for the price. If you're on a budget dont let another employee talk you into a 3-400 dollar soundbar. Unless you are very picky about your audio or need to fill a very large room with sound, this will do great as long as you use the proper cables.
