Enjoy stunning audio with this Insignia NS-SB314 soundbar that features Bluetooth support for use with your Apple® iPhone®, iPad® or other Bluetooth-enabled device. Three digital signal sound field settings help optimize your sonic output.
Q: All I get is a Chattering Noise when using Digital Optical cable!!
A: You need to change the audio output of your TV to "PCM" to use the digital optical audio cable.
Q: My tv sound so low. Someone said to buy a sound bar how does make the sound higher so I can hear it
A: The sound on a regular flat screen comes from speakers on the back of the TV, which make it hard for the sound to reach your ears sometimes. The sound from a sound bar comes straight at you, so the sound waves don't have to bounce off of anything before they reach your ears.
Q: Does this Soundbar require an amplifier or receiver, or does it work directly off the TV?
A: Directly off tv. I hooked it up in minutes
Q: I lost remote control for insignia sound bar. Do you have replacement
A: need new remote rmcsb314
Q: Is subwoofer required for soundbar operation ?
A: The NS-SB314 soundbar has a small downfiring 23W subwoofer built in. If desired, you can still add an outboard sub if you want - there is an RCA sub out.
Q: Is there a way to make the soundbar turn on or off with the TV?
A: I have a logitech harmony 650 remote. it controls my tv/dvr/soundbar/dvd player/xbox. its super easy to program to turn things on/off. another option is a power strip that shuts off power to outlets when the designated master (tv) is off. try searching for Smart Strip 4941
Q: Are they good for high frequency hearing loss?
A: This is an individual thing based upon your specific reason for hearing loss and the frequency range. This will generally boost all volume over the TV speakers, but this unit is not superior in high freq range. Other brands have more brilliant high notes. The mids are good.
Q: I know ZIP about this... Can someone explain the benefits of a bluetooth player?
A: Bluetooth is like a radio or wifi signal to connect devices. In this case, you can connect your phone (most have bluetooth technology) directly to your soundbar without any wires. You can also connect your laptop, or any other bluetooth enabled device, to the soundbar. The soundbar will still need a power cord, but you can 'send' music/audio to it from across the room from your smart phone/laptop/etc
