I have a logitech harmony 650 remote. it controls my tv/dvr/soundbar/dvd player/xbox. its super easy to program to turn things on/off. another option is a power strip that shuts off power to outlets when the designated master (tv) is off. try searching for Smart Strip 4941
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A universal remote or Harmony remote would do the trick for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a Vizio sound bar. It would turn off after the TV was off for a while. I read the manual for it and it was in energy saving mode by default. There were some instructions that gave you a set of buttons to press in a certain order on the remote to turn it off. Yours might be similar. If the lag for the sound to catch up from the TV output was quicker, I would have kept it in energy saving but it just became annoying. It doesn't take all that much electricity to run it so it's not like I'm paying all that much to keep it on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In your TV's manual it has a list of brands that can be programmed to work off your TV's remote, if it's not listed contact the maker of your TV they may have a cheater code.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I never turn off the soundbar so each time I turn on the tv, the sound is perfect.
