I found out by checking the questions section which was answered by Pops "you pull off the top section including the clip".

Great buy - 3 Stylus pens / one purchase

Three different colored ink pens all with the those nice texting tips capable of hitting the right keys the first time. A lot of those rubber tips don't work well and have to be repeatedly hit to work, but not with this product..

Great Price for 3 styluses

Does the job well that it are intended for. The 3-count pack on sale is a good deal. Overall I've been very satisfied with a variety of Insignia products.

Great stylus pencils

The nib writes well, but I try to only use it for short sentences or brief periods so my hand doesn't cramp up. I try to keep other pens with me, but this one will do in a pinch.
