Great voltage converter for travel.

Best Buy recommended this one and it worked great. It also had a regular Europe two pin adapter that helped with the recessed outlets we found in most places we stayed.

At first, all was working fine. With a 2000 watt max rating surely a measly old Bluray player wouldn't even make it break a sweat. How wrong I was! Initially everything worked just fine but the longer I was using it the Bluray player started randomly resetting itself. I thought something was wrong with the player but it kept happening more often and the gaps between resets became shorter. I started to suspect this converter so luckily I had a *real* step-down transformer and used it instead. Poof! Problem instantly solved! Reused the Insignia converter" and the resets started happening again. This Insignia converter is a hunk of junk that can't even handle 100 watts much less 2000.
