We used this in England to charge an Apple phone. Within 10 minutes we smelled smoke as the charger began to melt. Same issue with a Samsung phone charger. After costing us two chargers, it was returned to Best Buy who would only issue a store credit.

We used it in hotels and on a cruise ship in Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary. It worked perfectly at giving us power in a foreign country.

Not sure what is the purpose of the non-converter outlet, since you can use the adapters to plug those devices directly to the wall. Perhaps so that you can plug two devices at once?

It had my clipper buzzing real loud, made so many adjustments still no good results.
