It failed at its one job

I bought it specifically to convert from 110 to 220 for my hair dryer while traveling in the UK… and it had one job. Utter failure.

I don't know how well it will work in other countries. I doesn't fit in the outlet tight, hangs down at an angle so I have to prop it up and I have to angle my charger to get it to work. Doesn't mean I won't buy at Best Buy anymore of course, but this is the one thing I have purchased that is just not that good.

Item was listed as an open box in excellent condition. I bought it a couple of months before we went to UK and the main large plug worked here in the USA. When we went to the UK and had to use the adapter it did not work. It was useless and a waste of money. Open box in excellent condition?? Open box that someone returned because it did not work and Best Buy probably put it back on the shelf.

Hair clippers and dryer made a really weird sound every time I tried using the adapter. Definitely made me uncomfortable every time I used the adapter….didn’t know if it was going to catch on fire or blow up. Bought it for my travel to Europe….2month stay, definitely going to return it when I get back. Wish I didn’t have to worry about given the length of my travel.

Now i am in the middle of nowhere during my deployment to Middle east and the converter has stopped working in just 5 days.
