Legs are on an angle so you lose a lot of space on the ends of the shelves because the framework is over the shelf. Look at it carefully before you buy

Too small for 50” TV

I ultimately decided to use the stand I already have, which is of much better quality, and no overhang. I’ll just use this one in a closet or other area for storage purposes. It was cheap enough and I don’t what to bother with a return.

Posted .Thank you for the feedback. We understand that the width of a 50” TV can vary between manufacturers and brands. Insignia suggests that users can allow up to one inch overhang on either side of the TV stand within our safety standards and we do our best to cover the size range as best we can.
Please check the User Guide p. 2 that talks about the one inch overhang.

The legs of the tv hang off the sides. This was definitely deceptive marketing to say it fits up to 50 " when it doesn't. Now I have to get a center pedestal stand just so the tv can fit. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, one of the shelves was scratched significantly.

Cassandra quickly gave me credit for my other items on 1/11/21. She was having problems locating this item. On 1/14/21 Adam said something about the computers not match up (theirs and the geek squads) and gave me James Ulizza (geek manager) name. As of today 1/26/21 I've heard nothing. Cassandra issued my credit the same day we talked. Now I'm getting the run around!!

But no one is willing to help so I hope corporate sees this. All I want is for the cameras to be reviewed and for money to be returned. I don’t understand why this is so hard. You have my number on my Bestbuy account so I’d appreciate a call back! And for you guys to make it right

It took us about ten minutes to figure it out and then it was easy. The shelves are made of hard wood, the stand is very sturdy and I love the color. It's got plenty of shelf space for all my tv electronics and I am so glad I got it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
