Needed a pedestal stand as most TVs have legs that are set to wide for existing furniture. This stand is heavy which should prevent the tip over I've seen on others. The base is approx 31" wide & 13" deep. Went together fairly easy, pkg contains many more screws than you'll need. Another set of hands for mounting TV to post & putting lock screws in would help. My TV was 43" so anything larger I would have help.

This stand is very sturdy; it's built of tubular steel, with a matte black plastic cover over the base. Owner assembly is required, but it's not too difficult of a build; all you need is a screwdriver. (It comes with numerous bolt/washer/spacer sizes, so no need to visit the hardware store.) No tempered glass on this stand (unlike most other pedestal manufactures) so breakage shouldn't be a concern. If your entertainment stand won't accommodate the wide foot placement of current tv models and you don't want to wall-mount it, this pedestal stand is a great option!

Instructions were easy to follow unfortunately not entirely foolproof - we built the whole thing but somehow the tv was sitting crooked despite everything looking right. So I say not foolproof as I am not building inclined so its very possible it was user error, however non DIYers etc beware, you may need someone more experienced to help. Otherwise seemed solid and the swivel action was good.

We didn't like the location the landlord had decided to hang the tv on the wall (very high). We decide to detach it from the wall mount and the tv at a lower level. No damage to walls, and we will return it to the wall mount when the lease ends. Stand is solid and sturdy, worth the money. We hung a large beach hat on the wall mount to hide the bracket and it looked like it was meant to be there.

Great stand, so much more stable than little feet. Easy to assemble.

Very sturdy stand for my TV - there's no way it's going to fall over. Pricey, but worth it if it saves the TV!

Fits my tv, raised it to preferred hight, swivels to desired angle. Very nice.

This is a great product and super easy to set up. I searched for quite awhile for the perfect TV stand and couldn’t help but be skeptical. I don’t regret my choice and I love the swivel that’s built in for the perfect angle!

New 65 inch TV feet did not fit on the old stand. This pedestal provided the answer. Very easy to install and provided many options for viewing height and angle. Also much better than mounting on the wall.
