Legs that come on the TV now are cheap and easy to brake. If your TV fall off a counter it can be injure or Killed. With this stand your TV will not fall over.

The TV sits on a TV stand where the feet on the TV were not adjustable and were too far apart to fit on the stand. This platform base was the solution. Can also adjust the vertical height of the TV for my viewing preference.

Not as tall as it looks

It is taller than the base that came with the unit. But only a little. It got the bottom of the TV about a foot off of the table at its highest. Again I was looking for about twice that. I had to buy a taller table for this to sit on. On a positive note it does swivel.

Glad I did. The perfect stand for my perfect 65" TV. Securely holds everything up to 65". Heavy construction. Very easy to assemble and install. Quality item for a fair price.
