I wasn't in the store but one minute and was asked if I needed help. Product was easy to assemble. Less than a half hour and it was complete and on the 42" TV. As read from previous reviews, they are correct in that the base puts scratches on the top of the finished entertainment center, so placing the TV stand and not moving it around will keep the top of the wood entertainment center from being scratched.
