    I told the customer service man on the phone that I needed to be a certain feet. He told me that it adjust when I got it. It stays short like the picture.

    This stand was excellent. Not only did it position my television at an ideal viewing height, but it also concealed the wires, resulting in a neat and organized appearance.

    I bought this to have a large tv on top of a tall dresser and not worry about it falling off. It was super easy to attach to my tv, the hardest part was getting it on top of the dresser by myself but mission accomplished!
