I took it back to the store, and bought one online from ShopJimmy that was 1/2 the price of this one, was easier to assemble, and works fine.

Excellent TV stand

There were extra spacers and washers to ensure a great fit. The cables can be run down the center of the stand out of view and the support for the TV is excellent
