Otherwise distance between feet would have not made it possible to place on furniture.

Just be sure to fully measure the TV so it’s centered. I had to fix it twice but I’m absolutely in love with it. It moves from left to right so it’s an apartment friendly solution to a wall mount!

Was pretty easy to assemble if you follow instructions. Only con is base is plastic, I would've preferred metal but it still works.
