Metal and Glass TV stand

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read numerous reviews about the TV Stand and most claimed that it was easy to assemble. It was not. The screws could not be inserted in the holes provided. I used Geek Squad to assemble the unit. It was somewhat costly at $130.00 but he did and admirable job and now assembled it looks and functions great. Warning you need a Dewalt Power Drill to get the screws in.

Good tv stand for the money

As other reviews have mentioned, could've been easier to put together, some of the screws were difficult to tighten.

Great stand if you can assemble it

I usually do not leave reviews with such a low rating, but I was quite mad at the assembly instructions/process of this item. The holes on the metal pieces are not large enough for the screws and you cannot use a screwdriver to put it together - you need a screw gun, which the instructions do not list as a requirement. I could not do it myself and had to have Geek Squad do it. What did the Geek Squad tech do when he came? He pulled out a screw gun and told me that he had just assembled one the previous week with the same situation. He told me that the holes are definitely too small and had trouble even with the screw gun. My advice: buy this only if you have the right tools. The price seems less attractive if you have to pay someone to assemble it.
