sub par when used with a compact flash card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I usually shoot over 300 shots a day when working . I've returned 2 Insignia cards in the last 2 months, and now I've 2 different brands that I'll try out. I use this card almost exclusively with a Compact Flash card and have for over 2 years. Up to this time is was the best available. I find myself buying numerous cards in a years time . I t doesn't last. The pins are easy to bend when using a Compact Flash card. I presently have 2 Insignia cards on hand in the event that I'm on the road and need a card reader to transfer photos to my Mack. I often found myself looking looking for a store open late at night trying to find a card reader because this card malfunctioned.

Did everything I needed!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in a panic, I had an old Sony digital camera (2007) with a long Sony Memory stick and a Canon Rebel T1 (2010) with a SDHD card which I'd bought when my kids were playing some serious ice hockey because the old Sony couldn't take the pictures fast enough. I'd bought a card reader at the time to read both, but today when I needed to pull off some pictures the wire cracked. Augh! I went online, found this product and thought, for the money this wouldn't work, but alas it did! I ordered it, pick up in store, got home plugged it in, no software to load, went through about 500 pictures between the two camera's to find what I needed! Yeah!

Defective Compact Flash Reader
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've purchased 2 of these now to use with a compact flash drive. The compact flash drive on these readers is defective. The spokes on the inside are out of place, making it impossible to connect the card to read. I thought the first time it was a fluke, then I purchased a second one after my camera stopped working in a last ditch effort to get my clients photos off of this flash drive. Again.. Same defect. Best buy owes me $40 and needs to pull this item and fix it!!
