This card reader is great for a person who travels. It is the size of a thumb drive and doesn't have a cord that other card readers require. That is one less thing for you to pack when traveling. The transfer speed is comparable to other card readers.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO MY STUDENTS, PIERS & any Digital Photographers.

There's not much to say. I needed a card reader to check a microSD card that gave up the ghost and this was the cheapest and fastest one I could find.

Allowed me to dowload photos from my camera, which I couldn't do before.

Came in for a cable that would connect camera to computer to d/l pics. Employee suggested this card reader. It was a good price and very easy to use.

This card reader works perfectly, you can just pop in your memory card and look at all the photos and videos you have taken without having to download every single on of them. From there you can choose the ones you want to download and/or edit.

If you like me have those very small memory card for your camera you need this if you want upload your pictures on your computer or laptop

For a card reader under $10 this one is fantastic. It is very lightweight though, and feels like it could easily break during my crazy hectic shooting schedule. I wouldn't be too worried about it though since it is easily (and cheaply) replaced.

Not much to tell, it's simple yet gets the job done, whether it's loading an image for your Raspberry Pi or pulling photos from your favorite point-and-shoot, never will you have to bother with wondering "how will I connect this to my PC" again. Brilliant!

I purchased this product as a gift for a friend with an older computer. He was excited to get it, and even more excited with how often he is able to use it.

I purchased two of these, and they both have slow read/write performance with my Samsung SDXC card. The card is rated for 40 MB/s write speed and 80 MB/s read speed. When I use it with a laptop that has a built-in SD card slot, I get exactly those speeds when reading/writing large files from/to the card. When I use the Insignia adapter, I get a max of 17.8 MB/s for both reads and writes. I've tried multiple different USB ports (both USB 3.0 and 2.0) on my computer, and I've also tried connecting it to a different computer. All perform the exact same with the Insignia adapter. It's possible that just my SDXC card is having compatibility issues with this adapter (I unfortunately don't have any other cards to test with), but I ended up returning the adapter as a result and buying a different one.

Card reader on my desktop computer died. Purchased this so I could download photos from my camera to my computer. Easy to use and works great.

I carry it to download pictures from my camera to my laptop. It is compact and doesn't require external power.

Memory cards for my camera work excellent and was what I expected.
