Not all desk-top computers have slots for SD or micro-SD cards, but nearly all have USB ports.

Useful gadget

Just place in the computer and add the SD card. Works well so far. I had to buy a second one when my dog chewed the first one. I recommend keeping out of the reach of dogs, but otherwise it is perfect!

I have a older work computer that doesn't have slots for memory cards so this is a great fast way to review and upload pictures. It also has slots for both types of memory cards regular and mini cards.

Great for someone with no card reader on computer

My card reader died on my computer and I had no way other than hooking up the camera to get the pictures off of it. This was a great solution for my problem and it works great.
