I no longer have to carry my 17" laptop with the sd card slot because my surface pro 4 does not have one. Plug this in and you are ready to transfer all your pics on the go with the smaller tablet/computer.

I have a little older mac which does not have a slot for these or the use of the adaptor they come with. This solved my problem.

I have a digital TV on the land with a USB reader. This allows me to review the pictures on the TV there so I don't have to have extra equipment.
