When I lost my memory card reader I needed to replace it quickly. I went to best buy & bought this one. It does the job well, the only issue I have (and it's just my opinion) is the USB connection is not covered when not in use if it gets damaged you won't be able to use it.

Once we upgraded to a high powered digital camera we needed a fast and efficient way to transfer large data amounts from camera to desk top. This was perfect !

We went on a 2 week vacation and needed extra storage space for memories along with ways to charge many devices at once and listen to one tablet on the plane for several people. Everything we bought was used and made the trip much happier for all involved!

To me, par for the course as far as memory sticks go.

Bought this becaause i wanted to transfer my data from my 3ds to my new one BECAUSE I was trading my old one in and wanted to keep the data worked great

Inexpensive alternative to SD card reader built into the back of the MAC Mini - an inconvenient location. This portable reader plugs easily into the USB port on my keyboard, making SD unloads convenient, and can then be ejected and stored out of the way.

This unit is a great substitute if you don't have a card slot on your computer. I've been using this unit and completely happy with results. Great buy!

I use it to read camera memory cards with, and without, an adapter. Also use for quick or temporary document backup. USB 2 but suitable for my purposes.

Got this to use with my new computer ( only has 1 type card reader instead of multiple types). Hard to plug in if you have a drop down door over ports. Had to get an usb extension to be able to plug it in easily

Plug and play, needs more slots. I would recommend.

Sales associate was great to me. After hearing my problem knew exactly what I needed, found it for me, problem fixed. Doesn't get any better than that.

This reader works perfectly for me, and the small form factor lets it plug into any of my usb ports no matter how narrow or how close the next cable is.

Have an older desktop computer that does not have a micro card reader. This inexpensive item saved me from a more expensive option of loading photos.

I lost my other card reader and stopped by Best Buy to grab one of these. It's been going strong for a few months and has reasonable transfer speeds.

Preformed as advertised. Read write speeds were capped at the speed of the microsd card. Can't complain. Month of daily use its still going fine.

I bought this because my PC didn't come with a card reader but this would be perfect for on the go if your laptop didn't come with a card reader.

I needed a memory stick, this was on sale! I origally didn't need this much memory, but @ double the memory and half the cost, I couldn't go wrong!

My new Surface doesn't have the SD card reader slot, so I found this USB port connection with the SD card reader. Just what I was looking for.

Perfect, inexpensive way to read/write to SD/Micro SD from a PC that does not have a card reader. I don't see the need to spend more $ than this.
