I thought I might be able to recover them using a program from the Internet if I had a way to access them. It didn't work. But, the card reader works well for regular uploading.

Good performance for the money

A bit "clunky" looking, and the cap doesn't re-attach to the end when it's in use - but good value for the money.

didn't work at all

Convenient size

When I plugged it in, it did not automatically download like the directions said. But that may have been because of the way we have our pc set up.

I ma going to return it when i get close to a best buy store.

not what i was hoping for

Sadly the only way the card reader would work is if you formatted the card erasing all of its data. in short this is not a recovery device.
