    Set-up on a Mac was an absolute nightmare. If you’re not comfortable booting to recovery mode to allow special permissions via terminal then don’t even bother. It took hours to get working and then it disabled my wifi. It’s all good now, but jeez.

    The wireless adapter has been going in and out on my Lenovo computer that is less than 3 years old! When the Geek Squad told me it would take 2 weeks to ship it back for replacement (if it could be replaced?), I started looking for other options! This adapter helped me to "wire" into the the network with my laptop and has temporarily solved my connection problems. A new computer will probably be the next step, but it won't be a Lenovo!

    I bought this usb ethernet adapter for my new MacBook Pro to connect directly to my older Mac desktop. Installs easily, however ethernet status keeps reading "cable is not connected" even though it is. I don't know... I must be missing something, tried different cables etc. ... It has issues that I may not be aware of. Still hopeful that these issues will be resolved.. needs more research on my part.
