Works great with my new laptop that didn't have a Ethernet port.

Don't even have to open cases anymore. As long as USB still works after getting hit this is a good workaround rather then replacing the Motherboard or PC altogether.

Has good range for college students in dorm rooms.

Lightning took out the ethernet port on the motherboard. Hook this up to a USB 3.0 port load the driver from the included CD and you have your ethernet port back.

This was suggested by the geek squad for a temporary fix to my eithernet issue, but product didn’t work with windows 10. I’m sure it worked great, but the lower rating is not against the actual product just that it didn’t work for my needs.

Works great for what I'm using it for needed it for school.

I purchased this because my Surface Pro wi-fi drive went totally out. I was trying to go on the internet directly using the ethernet. I found out that I needed the Microsoft one, so I had to return it.

I plugged the adapter into my Windows 10 device, the driver installed automatically, and I was able to use it immediately.

Impressive device. Needed something quick that works with Linux for a project. Worked right out of the box on a new Linux install. Worked fine in Windows too.

Didn’t work for connecting the Ethernet from the modem to my tv, which was the reason I got it. Not sure if the issue is the connector or the tv itself. Probably too late to return it now.

There were few choices for a USB Ethernet port. This one worked well out of the box and was self discovered by the computer for instant hard wire connection.

Ethernet adaptor worked perfectly. Simply plugged it into USB and plugged in Ethernet cable to the other end. No drivers were required via my MacBook Pro.

I bought this on a whim because my ethernet port on my PC went out. Decided to just get this as a temporary fix and it seems to be a permanent one until I decide to build a new computer. 5/5 with rice.

This was very handy for my laptop that does not come with a Ethernet port. So simple and easy, just use a USB port and plug it in, works quick and easily.

got this for a laptop that had WiFi only but needed to be hardwired to a network. When connected to a USB 3 port, this provides solid gigabit throughput.

Let's me hard wire in my dorm room where WiFi is weak

Got this Ethernet/USB adapter so we could use a wired connection to a Surface Pro 4 It works well. It does seem to run a bit warm but no problems so far.

It met my needs and met my expectations for my work.

It's questionable at times. Very touchy as in if I move mine there is a good chance I will loose connection. Still works better then others I have tried. I would recommend this product for most people.
