Wasn't really impressed with this. lost network connections too often

It works, but gives nowhere near the 1gbps that it claims. My modem ports, cables, and USB 3.0 ports are capable of 1gbps, but this delivers just about 250-400mbps MAX. It's a decent buy for connections slower than that, if you need it, otherwise, skip it and find something more powerful.

If your getting this for the switch it doesnt work

Every so often it will stop working and is hot to the touch. Re-plugging the ethernet cable fixes it for awhile.

This is just an ok device it get the job done but nothing special

My Chromebook did not have an ethernet port so to be able to find this ethernet adapter cable made my life with my Chromebook so much better. I have wireless at home but sometimes I just don't want to be wireless.

This item is worthless. It will not work on Windows 10. I went in to Best Buy and told them the model of laptop I had and my need, which was to hook up to the Internet service via hardware due to the very slow wifi. The laptop, a new high end laptop, has no Ethernet port or CD player. The salesman suggested this adapter. Right out of the box the installation was via CD, which most laptops no longer have. So I went on the website to download the driver and it told me it is not Windows 10 compatible. So I called the company, and indeed the product doesn't work with Windows 10...and they don't make a product that does. I ask just one question: why does Best Buy even carry this product?

In a world.....where laptops no longer have a Ethernet ports, this dongle is a must carry if you use your laptop in hotels with Ethernet cable availability, or when traveling for work. Instead of lugging a docking station this device makes it effortless.

I am using this in conjunction with an Apple USB-C to USB adapter and all is fine. Also, got 25% when purchasing with 2 other qualifying products, great for those costly Apple chargers and cables.

The PC is supposed to connect to intranet wireless

After years of good service, my trusty laptop ethernet connector decided to shoot craps. Not wanting to buy a laptop just yet, this USB adapter works flawlessly with Windows10 and my USB port.

Lenovo Laptop received without ethernet connector. Impossible to setup laptop on a corporate network without one of these. Setup was plug and play. Worked perfectly and the cost was right.

purchase this for my compater -- this is a great idea - but not the best quality -- it stopped working about a month later - not happy - but you get what you pay for

Told store associate which comp I had. Bought comp at Best Buy. Still had my model on display. and he suggested this product. Took home to install only to find out it's not compatible. Thank goodness it wasn't too expensive

got this to go with my new hp spectre 360 and it works great. Allows me to connect directly to the network and free up wireless for others and maintain fast connection speeds.

My laptop is too thin for an ethernet port and my ISP insisted on a wired connection for troubleshooting. Used it once and probably won't need it again but it was pretty cheap.

Had issues with my wireless internet. This adapter allowed my to easily connect to an Ethernet cable. Ended up being a solution since my 27 inch tablet only had a USB port.
