Takes up the only USB 3.0 on the computer

This Ethernet adapter is a plug and play that should automatically start downloading and be able to use it. Please follow the steps bellow:
1. Make sure that the computer has all the updates available. 2. Remove the Ethernet adapter.
3. Make sure the WI-FI is on.
4. Turn off the computer
5. Plug the device to your computer.
6. Turn the unit on.
