I felt like a criminal driving a good hour--which was darn near illegal during a pandemic--but I felt purchase of a quality product ruled out disappointment. I was correct. The voice-in-a-barrel audio problem caused by conducting on-line classes using wi-fi was solved. Went from modem through this adapter right into my laptop. Problem solved.
