Took out wired ethernet (not wireless tho, another story...) Also took out my network adapter on my motherboard on my desktop. Repair would mean replacing motherboard. Used this connector to get wired connection from my modem to my pc. Perfect solution!!

Often (on my Dell laptop) I have to plug in the Ethernet cable. The Best Buy person suggested that I purchase this plug just in case if I might need it. That was in February 2020. As of July 2020, I have not had to use it on my HP. (Knock on wood.) For that reason, I gave the rating 4 stars and marked it as average. I often ask myself if I spent money (around $30) on something I will never use.
